windows network projecter

I was wondering if i have a pc connected to the TV can i use my other pc to connect to it and display its screen on it or does it only work with projectors?

help & support says.... (using the Connect to a Network Projector wizard, you can connect to any available "network projector" over a wireless or a wired network.)
unless you have a network TV.
Remote desktop ......maybe
